Tracy's Story Continued...

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Nursing Degree from the University of Wollongong and a Certificate III in Aged Care. Tracy started at a local care facility in the Highlands in the scullery and as a cleaner. But her passion for the elderly drew her to the nursing side of the establishment, wanting to offer a little more to the residents. This was in 2014 when Tracy began her nursing career.

In 2017 she started working in the medical and surgical wards of the local hospital to gain more experience.  Tracy has experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and Operating Theatres of her local hospital after completing her nursing degree in 2018. All the while working full time and raising 3 children. She knew where her passion was and went for it. Tracy knew exactly what she wanted to do. She wanted to care for people with dignity and respect.

Tracy is passionate about delivering high quality compassionate care and to provide a safe and supportive home environment.  She has a holistic approach of person-centred care for the aged and disabled that caters for cultural, spiritual, and emotional support.

Prior to nursing, Tracy worked for 16 years in advertising, marketing and administration roles for management consultant and industrial companies.  Tracy also provided professional cleaning services to private homes and small businesses in the Wollondilly and Wingecarribee areas for 9 years.  Tracy enjoys her family time and volunteers in her community as a firefighter and first aid officer for her local Rural Fire Service Brigade, having almost sacrificing her own home to save the homes of others in her community.
